CNIB is a registered charity, passionately providing community-based support, knowledge, and a national voice to ensure Canadians who are blind or partially sighted have the confidence, skills, and opportunities to fully participate in life. To do that, our dedicated specialists work with people of all ages in their home, communities, or local CNIB office - providing the personalized support they need to see beyond vision loss, build their independence, and lead the lives they want. In addition to our community-based services we strive to eliminate avoidable sight loss with world-class research and by promoting the importance of vision health through public education.

Do I need to apply for funding through WellFunded?

Philanthropists can browse charity profiles, see your funding needs, and express interest directly—saving you countless hours. We are soon rolling out a "two click granting" tool where donors can set their granting preferences and matching charities are automatically surfaced.

What does it cost?

WellFunded charges philanthropists today. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. There will always be a free tier.

How does WellFunded help my charity get discovered?

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact.

How does WellFunded ensure trust and transparency?

Charity profiles include leadership information, financial data, and clear funding needs. Philanthropists can also see impact reports and follow giving activity of other donors.
