Aerosan is a small and dynamic Canadian NGO based in Halifax Nova Scotia. The charity's mission is to provide innovative sanitation solutions to the most vulnerable populations in the world's least developed countries. Solid waste management is considered an essential service and a key global challenge, particularly in urban areas. Aerosan's programs include developing above-ground toilets for emergency settings, establishing a public toilet social enterprise in Nepal, and implementing Waste-to-Value technology to convert human waste into valuable resources. The charity also focuses on gender-inclusive toilet design, health and hygiene promotion, and empowering sanitation workers through the Independent Sanitation Worker Group.

Philanthropists can browse charity profiles, see your funding needs, and express interest directly—saving you countless hours. We are soon rolling out a “two click granting” tool where donors can set their granting preferences and if your charity matches their preferences, you will automatically be notified in your dashboard, and can send your portrait onward right through to their WellFunded dashboard. Sort of like applying to a job through LinkedIn Easy Apply.

WellFunded charges philanthropists presently. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. However, we will always have a free tier. We will introduce pricing once enough active donors use the platform to influence giving.

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact. With advanced search tools and standardized due diligence, your work speaks for itself—helping you build trust and attract new donors.
