Armagh is a non-profit organization that provides a second-stage supportive transitional housing program for women and their children who have experienced violence or abuse. They accept referrals from local crisis shelters and the Peel Children's Aid Domestic Violence Team. Armagh offers supportive transitional housing for up to two years, individual and group counseling, legal support, housing support, self-esteem, parenting, life skills, and support programs for both women and children. They also provide advocacy, referrals to community resources, and outreach follow-up for women and their children for up to one more year after they leave. Armagh has 9 units/apartments and can accommodate up to nine women and 31 children at any given time.
