Overview

The British Columbia Schizophrenia Society (BCSS) is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by schizophrenia and serious mental illnesses. Through individual, family, and public education programs, BCSS aims to raise awareness and provide support to those facing mental health challenges. Additionally, BCSS is involved in school education programs, public policy development, research initiatives, online support services, and fundraising efforts to further their mission. By coordinating national education programs and community branch activities, BCSS strives to strengthen support systems and resources for individuals with serious mental illnesses.

Vision

Family Centred - We provide education and caring support for families affected by serious mental illness. The family unit is our first responsibility and primary focus; the person with the illness is always included in the definition of family.

What does it cost?

WellFunded charges philanthropists today. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. There will always be a free tier.

How does WellFunded help my charity get discovered?

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact.

How does WellFunded ensure trust and transparency?

Charity profiles include leadership information, financial data, and clear funding needs. Philanthropists can also see impact reports and follow giving activity of other donors.
