About Community Builders Benevolence Group

Overview

Community Builders Benevolence Group (CBG) is dedicated to providing low-cost housing to individuals at risk of homelessness through their Whole Life Housing program and supportive centers in Vancouver. They also support at-risk children with developmental issues, as well as parents with housing and independent living assistance. In addition, CBG offers a Pay it Forward grant program for small businesses to support communities of extreme poverty in Haiti. Their new programs for the period January to March 2020 include Naomi Place low-rent apartment and Coal Harbour emergency shelter.

Philanthropists can browse charity profiles, see your funding needs, and express interest directly—saving you countless hours. We are soon rolling out a "two click granting" tool where donors can set their granting preferences and if your charity matches their preferences, you will automatically be notified in your dashboard, and can send your portrait onward right through to their WellFunded dashboard. Sort of like applying to a job through LinkedIn Easy Apply.

WellFunded charges philanthropists presently. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. However, we will always have a free tier. We will introduce pricing once enough active donors use the platform to influence giving.

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact. With advanced search tools and standardized due diligence, your work speaks for itself—helping you build trust and attract new donors.

Charity profiles include leadership information, financial data, and clear funding needs. Philanthropists can also see impact reports and follow the giving activity of other donors, creating a more open and transparent ecosystem.
