Vision

Community Connections Society of Southeast BC works toward a future in which the well-being of all diverse people in the East Kootenay region is enhanced. While a formally codified vision and values statement was not publicly available, the organization's programs and partnerships reflect core values of inclusivity, accessibility, collaboration, and responsiveness to emerging local needs. CCS aspires to strengthen communities by linking people, communities, and services across the full lifespan.

Unique value proposition

What distinguishes CCS is its role as a comprehensive, lifespan-spanning multi-service hub in a rural region, integrating over 20 social programs under a single organizational umbrella and delivering them through co-located facilities shared with community partners. CCS further differentiates itself through innovative social enterprise models — including a women's fitness centre and a hydroponic urban farm — that generate revenue to cross-subsidize its charitable programs. This combination of breadth, rural reach, co-location, community partnership, and entrepreneurial sustainability makes CCS a uniquely resilient and integrated social services provider in the East Kootenay.

How does WellFunded help my charity get discovered?

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact.
