The Daily Bread Food Bank is dedicated to alleviating hunger and fighting the underlying poverty that causes hunger. They achieve this mission through various initiatives such as collecting and distributing food to their member agency programs, supporting agencies in creating and operating food distribution services, conducting research on poverty, advocating for improved government policies, providing information and referral services to clients, and running an industrial kitchen that prepares thousands of servings for meal programs in Toronto. Additionally, Daily Bread serves as a major distribution point for the Ontario Association of Food Banks (OAFB), helping distribute food across Ontario.

WellFunded eliminates the inefficiencies, inequities and ineffectiveness of traditional fundraising by centralizing and standardizing the process. Instead of spending time on endless grant applications, you create a single, detailed profile that philanthropists and foundations can easily discover and fund. Our other tools like our centralized due diligence tool and "2 click grants" (coming soon) build off of this core concept: that we can make things radically better by centralizing them on one common platform.

Philanthropists can browse charity profiles, see your funding needs, and express interest directly—saving you countless hours. We are soon rolling out a "two click granting" tool where donors can set their granting preferences and if your charity matches their preferences, you will automatically be notified in your dashboard, and can send your portrait onward right through to their WellFunded dashboard. Sort of like applying to a job through LinkedIn Easy Apply.

WellFunded charges philanthropists presently. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. However, we will always have a free tier. We will introduce pricing once enough active donors use the platform to influence giving.

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact. With advanced search tools and standardized due diligence, your work speaks for itself—helping you build trust and attract new donors.

Charity profiles include leadership information, financial data, and clear funding needs. Philanthropists can also see impact reports and follow the giving activity of other donors, creating a more open and transparent ecosystem.
