To increase access to healthy food for community members in situations of low income, in a respectful and dignified manner; reduce social isolation and increase participants' connections to a variety of supports; strengthen skills, knowledge and healthy habits around food; foster personal growth and community engagement among participants; and promote knowledge of poverty, social justice and food system issues while creating opportunities to take effective action on these issues.

We believe that food is a basic human right and that food insecurity is directly linked to poverty and social inequality. We work towards creating a community-led organizational culture where anti-oppression and anti-racism are priorities, ensuring dignity, community engagement and the development of human potential.

Philanthropists can browse charity profiles, see your funding needs, and express interest directly—saving you countless hours. We are soon rolling out a "two click granting" tool where donors can set their granting preferences and matching charities are automatically surfaced.

What does it cost?

WellFunded charges philanthropists today. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. There will always be a free tier.

How does WellFunded help my charity get discovered?

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact.

How does WellFunded ensure trust and transparency?

Charity profiles include leadership information, financial data, and clear funding needs. Philanthropists can also see impact reports and follow giving activity of other donors.
