Overview

Fear is Not Love Society (formerly known as Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and resources to women and children fleeing domestic violence in the City of Calgary. They operate a 50-bed first stage emergency shelter where clients are offered free lodging, food, clothing, and crisis counseling for up to 21 days. Additionally, the society offers court support services, community outreach counseling, and a 24-hour emergency helpline for women in immediate crisis. Their mission is to empower individuals affected by domestic violence and assist them in transitioning to safe and sustainable living situations.

Our other tools like our centralized due diligence tool and "2 click grants" (coming soon) build off of this core concept: that we can make things radically better by centralizing them on one common platform.

Philanthropists can browse charity profiles, see your funding needs, and express interest directly—saving you countless hours. We are soon rolling out a "two click granting" tool where donors can set their granting preferences and if your charity matches their preferences, you will automatically be notified in your dashboard, and can send your portrait onward right through to their WellFunded dashboard. Sort of like applying to a job through LinkedIn Easy Apply.

WellFunded charges philanthropists presently. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. However, we will always have a free tier. We will introduce pricing once enough active donors use the platform to influence giving.

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact. With advanced search tools and standardized due diligence, your work speaks for itself—helping you build trust and attract new donors.
