About Fernie Family Housing Society

Overview

Fernie Family Housing Society is dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions in the Fernie community. Through the operation of two subsidized housing complexes, New Horizon Village and Tom Uphill Manor, the charity offers a total of 59 units of housing for individuals and families in need. Currently, Fernie Family Housing Society is in the process of constructing an additional housing complex that will provide rent-geared-to-income housing options.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about getting started.

How does the platform work?

WellFunded eliminates the inefficiencies, inequities and ineffectiveness of traditional fundraising by centralizing and standardizing the process. Instead of spending time on endless grant applications, you create a single, detailed profile that philanthropists and foundations can easily discover and fund.

Do I need to apply for funding through WellFunded?

Philanthropists can browse charity profiles, see your funding needs, and express interest directly—saving you countless hours. We are soon rolling out a "two click granting" tool where donors can set their granting preferences and matching charities are automatically surfaced.

What does it cost?

WellFunded charges philanthropists today. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. There will always be a free tier.

How does WellFunded help my charity get discovered?

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact.

How does WellFunded ensure trust and transparency?

Charity profiles include leadership information, financial data, and clear funding needs. Philanthropists can also see impact reports and follow giving activity of other donors.

Is my information secure?

Yes. WellFunded prioritizes data security and does not sell or share your private information outside the platform.
