Fernie Family Housing Society is dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions in the Fernie community. Through the operation of two subsidized housing complexes, New Horizon Village and Tom Uphill Manor, the charity offers a total of 59 units of housing for individuals and families in need. In addition to managing these complexes, the organization also works towards identifying gaps in affordable housing and responding to the identified needs of the community. Currently, Fernie Family Housing Society is in the process of constructing an additional housing complex that will provide rent-geared-to-income housing options.
