Food Rescue (Yellowknife) supports organizations who feed the homeless and otherwise nutritionally or socially disadvantaged individuals through donations of reclaimed food. In 2019/2020, with the help of approximately 60 volunteers, they operated approximately 238 days, recovering an average of 593 kg of food per day, and distributing 134,656 kg of food to recipient organizations. Since starting operation in June 2008, Food Rescue has distributed over 1,468,015 kg to help feed those in need.

Sort of like applying to a job through LinkedIn Easy Apply.

WellFunded charges philanthropists presently. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. However, we will always have a free tier. We will introduce pricing once enough active donors use the platform to influence giving.

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact. With advanced search tools and standardized due diligence, your work speaks for itself—helping you build trust and attract new donors.

Charity profiles include leadership information, financial data, and clear funding needs. Philanthropists can also see impact reports and follow the giving activity of other donors, creating a more open and transparent ecosystem.
