Overview

H.I.M. Health Initiative for Men Society (HIM) operates five health centres which offer full STI testing, vaccinations, and medical support, along with access to non-medical services including peer support, counselling, and sexual health and leadership skills education. HIM provides health outreach through street- and venue-based engagement with GBT2Q guys, men who have sex with men, sex workers, and street-involved youth. They promote public health by distributing, promoting, and educating the public in the use of sexual health supplies, including the distribution of approximately 165,000 condoms and lubricant packs per year, accompanied by volunteer educational contact and printed educational materials. Additionally, HIM provides health education services through sexual health education campaigns including print, audio, video, and interactive media. Program highlights of the past year include redevelopment of online sexual health tools relevant to today's GBT2Q communities and expansion of their work into different regions beyond the Lower Mainland.

We are soon rolling out a "two click granting" tool where donors can set their granting preferences and if your charity matches their preferences, you will automatically be notified in your dashboard, and can send your portrait onward right through to their WellFunded dashboard. Sort of like applying to a job through LinkedIn Easy Apply.

WellFunded charges philanthropists presently. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. However, we will always have a free tier. We will introduce pricing once enough active donors use the platform to influence giving.

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact. With advanced search tools and standardized due diligence, your work speaks for itself—helping you build trust and attract new donors.

Charity profiles include leadership information, financial data, and clear funding needs. Philanthropists can also see impact reports and follow the giving activity of other donors, creating a more open and transparent ecosystem.
