About Hope And Healing International

Overview

Hope and Healing International works with local partners to treat preventable and curable causes of blindness such as cataract, river blindness, and trachoma. They also work to identify and treat conditions like club foot and cleft lip as early as possible in a child's life to avoid permanent impairment. The organization develops custom rehabilitation plans that address physical and occupational therapy needs, assistive devices, and other rehab services. Through their work, they aim to open doors for people with disabilities to gain access to education, open businesses, earn a living, make friends, and be part of their community.

To provide hope and healing to children and families trapped by poverty and disability, working in partnership with local communities to deliver empowering, ability-restoring, life-changing services in the world's poorest countries.

Our other tools like our centralized due diligence tool and "2 click grants" (coming soon) build off of this core concept: that we can make things radically better by centralizing them on one common platform.

Philanthropists can browse charity profiles, see your funding needs, and express interest directly—saving you countless hours. We are soon rolling out a "two click granting" tool where donors can set their granting preferences and if your charity matches their preferences, you will automatically be notified in your dashboard, and can send your portrait onward right through to their WellFunded dashboard. Sort of like applying to a job through LinkedIn Easy Apply.

WellFunded charges philanthropists presently. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. However, we will always have a free tier. We will introduce pricing once enough active donors use the platform to influence giving.

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact. With advanced search tools and standardized due diligence, your work speaks for itself—helping you build trust and attract new donors.
