Overview

Kelowna Community Resources Society (KCR) envisions a community where individuals and families are supported in leading healthy, productive, and fulfilling lives. KCR fosters diversity, collaboration, and resourcefulness by tailoring services to meet community, family, and individual needs. They are a multi-service agency offering programs and projects in four overarching areas: Community Services, Employment Services, Family & Adoption Services, and Immigrant Services. With a strong volunteer base, including roles such as Board Members, Employment and Settlement mentors, Crisis Line Responders, and Family Friends, KCR had over 362 volunteers contribute more than 11,924 hours to their programs and participants in the past fiscal year. In addition, KCR offers Employment programs such as Options 55+ Older Worker and STEPS For Training Success Employment Programs to support individuals in their career development.

WellFunded charges philanthropists today. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. There will always be a free tier.

How does WellFunded help my charity get discovered?

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact.

How does WellFunded ensure trust and transparency?

Charity profiles include leadership information, financial data, and clear funding needs. Philanthropists can also see impact reports and follow giving activity of other donors.
