About Kuwasha International Development Society

Overview

Kuwasha is dedicated to supporting the Kibaale Community Centre in Southern Uganda through quality Christian education and essential services such as healthcare, vocational training, clean water initiatives, and agricultural programs. These proven initiatives empower community members and enhance the lives of vulnerable individuals in the region. Hundreds of our students have completed degrees and are now employed throughout the country as teachers, doctors, lawyers, and business professionals. Sustainable projects such as Timothy Girls High School and the Kuwasha Coffee Company further contribute to community development.

Mission

Kibaale Community Centre exists to impact the nation of Uganda through evangelism and discipleship, education, health-care and community development focused on service, leadership and excellence, to the Glory of God.

Vision

We are confident that quality Christian education can break the cycle of poverty in Kibaale. Our vision is for today’s students to become the ethical leaders of Uganda in the future.

Everything you need to know about getting started

WellFunded eliminates the inefficiencies, inequities and ineffectiveness of traditional fundraising by centralizing and standardizing the process. Instead of spending time on endless grant applications, you create a single, detailed profile that philanthropists and foundations can easily discover and fund. Our other tools like our centralized due diligence tool and "2 click grants" (coming soon) build off of this core concept: that we can make things radically better by centralizing them on one common platform.

Philanthropists can browse charity profiles, see your funding needs, and express interest directly—saving you countless hours. We are soon rolling out a "two click granting" tool where donors can set their granting preferences and if your charity matches their preferences, you will automatically be notified in your dashboard, and can send your portrait onward right through to their WellFunded dashboard. Sort of like applying to a job through LinkedIn Easy Apply.

WellFunded charges philanthropists presently. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. However, we will always have a free tier. We will introduce pricing once enough active donors use the platform to influence giving.

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact. With advanced search tools and standardized due diligence, your work speaks for itself—helping you build trust and attract new donors.

Charity profiles include leadership information, financial data, and clear funding needs. Philanthropists can also see impact reports and follow the giving activity of other donors, creating a more open and transparent ecosystem.

Yes. WellFunded prioritizes data security and does not sell or share your private information outside the platform.
