Le Conseil des Arts de Hearst is dedicated to providing artistic and cultural programming in all possible disciplines for the northern Ontario region, at the professional, amateur, and community levels (performing arts, music, dance, visual arts, cinema, theater, multidisciplinary arts, heritage, etc.). With a pool of about a hundred volunteers, the organization is able to fulfill this significant mission. The programming also includes an artistic education program for children, projects that celebrate cultural diversity and Indigenous culture, as well as artistic and cultural festivals. The territory served extends from Thunder Bay in the west to Kapuskasing in the east.
