About Mennonite Church Canada

Overview

Mennonite Church Canada supports church ministry in 15 countries, which includes theological teaching, Bible translation, development of local church leaders, counseling, community outreach, conflict resolution, church development, and the support of Canadian missionaries. They also provide support for post-secondary theology training by financially supporting Mennonite educational institutions and providing bursaries and forgivable loans. In addition, they develop resources and publications for worship leaders, youth leaders, educational curriculum, and informing the constituency of news. Mennonite Church Canada operates a resource center to make materials available to the constituency and provides leadership development for First Nations communities and churches. They also operate archives for preserving history, facilitate research, and run an art gallery to provide a venue for artists to share their gifts. As of June 1, 2017, the operation of these programs has been transferred to the Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg. Furthermore, they offer pension and HR services for pastors and churches.

Philanthropists can browse charity profiles, see your funding needs, and express interest directly—saving you countless hours. We are soon rolling out a "two click granting" tool where donors can set their granting preferences and if your charity matches their preferences, you will automatically be notified in your dashboard, and can send your portrait onward right through to their WellFunded dashboard. Sort of like applying to a job through LinkedIn Easy Apply.

WellFunded charges philanthropists presently. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. However, we will always have a free tier. We will introduce pricing once enough active donors use the platform to influence giving.

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact. With advanced search tools and standardized due diligence, your work speaks for itself—helping you build trust and attract new donors.
