About Old Hay Bay United Church

Overview

Old Hay Bay United Church is a historic site that is opened to visitors from mid-May to mid-October. They offer daily interpretation tours, an annual pilgrimage, and special services. In addition, they provide bus tours, host weddings, conduct genealogical research, maintain a website and Facebook presence, and offer speaking engagements. The charity also runs a restoration campaign to preserve and maintain the 230-year-old building, cottage, cemetery, and grounds. Due to COVID, minimal work was done in 2020, but the project will continue in 2023. All programs are managed by volunteers who serve as trustees.
