The Stroke Recovery Association of British Columbia (SRABC) is dedicated to assisting stroke survivors and their caregivers in improving their quality of life after leaving the hospital. The core programs offered by SRABC include mobility exercises, communication and memory improvement, social interaction and recreation, peer support, caregiver support, and education about stroke risk and impairment. In addition to providing these programs, SRABC also offers information and referral services to the public, distributes information about strokes to survivors and their families, and collaborates with Health Authorities and Stroke Service BC to raise awareness and improve standards of care for stroke recovery.
