About Toronto Rape Crisis Centre

Overview

The Toronto Rape Crisis Centre offers a range of programs to support survivors of sexual violence. They operate a 24-hour crisis line, provide volunteer and community training, conduct public education, offer face-to-face counseling, court support, support groups, and community events. Additionally, they offer Holistic Healing to survivors and volunteer counselors, and run a South Asian Youth support group.

Mission

TRCC/MWAR is a grassroots, women-run collective working towards a violence-free world by providing anti-oppressive, feminist peer support to survivors of sexual violence through support, education and activism.

Vision

TRCC/MWAR operates on principles of mutual respect and anti-oppression. We believe survivors of sexual violence are experts in their own healing. Together we work toward creating a thriving community, empowering survivors of all races, classes, ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities and spiritualities.

WellFunded charges philanthropists today. For charities, WellFunded offers a free tier, with plans for affordable paid options that provide enhanced visibility and engagement tools. There will always be a free tier.

Instead of relying on cold proposals or personal networks, WellFunded helps you get in front of philanthropists actively looking to give in your area of impact.

How does WellFunded ensure trust and transparency?

Charity profiles include leadership information, financial data, and clear funding needs. Philanthropists can also see impact reports and follow giving activity of other donors.
