About Victim Services Toronto

Overview

Victim Services Toronto is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing immediate on-site crisis/trauma counseling and practical assistance for victims of crime and/or tragic circumstances. Their programs are offered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In addition, they offer high-risk support services such as safety audits, comprehensive safety plans, and a 9-1-1 linked cell phone for individuals at high risk of bodily harm. Victim Services Toronto also runs the Victim Quick Response Program to assist victims of major crimes with emotional support, practical issues, and access to services and financial resources they may need. They also provide educational workshops for teenagers on recognizing and preventing abuse, as well as a Trauma Dog Program to assist victims of violent crime in court and while giving statements to police.

How does WellFunded ensure trust and transparency?
